Savoy previously held the position of director of Xaas strategy and solutions at both Red River and SMS Data Products Group. He was the senior director of XaaS architecture and engineering at Peraton, which he joined as part of the acquisition of ViON in September 2021. Savoy spent nearly nine years at ViON, holding leadership positions such as chief architect, senior director of both technology-as-a-service business and cloud and IT infrastructure solutions, and senior product manager.
The new CTO worked at IBM for almost 13 years. He was a senior sales engineer for nearly four years, responsible for developing and delivering product presentations, designing server hardware, storage subsystems, and other IT offerings, and maintaining relationships with high-value clients. He also served as a system engineer from 2000 to 2009. Prior to IBM, Savoy was an IT specialist for BRACE Integrated Services.
Before joining the private sector, Savoy served in the Louisiana Air National Guard and the U.S. Air Force as a specialist for F-15 and F-16 avionics systems.
