V2X has secured an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract valued at $4.3 billion from the U.S. Air Force to support T-6 Texan II single-engine primary trainer aircraft. The company said it will provide base supply support to ensure that the aircraft is safe, flyable and capable of meeting its daily flight schedules and depot requirements across military services.
Work will be performed at various military sites in the United States until July 2034.
“The T-6 program is foundational to pilot training across the services, and we are committed to delivering the highest standards of performance, reliability, and mission readiness,” commented Vinny Caputo, senior vice president of aerospace systems at V2X. “We’re excited to bring our proven supply chain expertise to this critical effort.”
V2X’s Recent Contract Awards
The IDIQ follows a recent task order from the U.S. Space Force for operations of a tracking and instrumentation station support services. The potential $140 million deal was awarded under the Air Force’s Contract Augmentation Program V, or AFCAP V, for required services at a tracking and instrumentation station located in Ascension Island in the South Atlantic Ocean.
V2X also received a $103 million contract from the U.S. Navy for C-26 logistics, engineering and maintenance support.
