V2X Books $103M Navy Contract for C-26 Logistics Support

The U.S. Navy has awarded V2X a contract valued at $103 million to provide logistic support for the C-26 military aircraft. The company said in a press release published Monday that the award covers aircraft engineering, upgrades, modifications and maintenance.

Work on the contract is expected to begin in June. According to V2X, the company will support eight of the Navy’s C-26A and C-26D rapid-response transports at four operating bases in the United States and international locations.

“With readiness rates north of 90 percent, V2X consistently delivers mission-capable aircraft while managing all aspects of maintenance, personnel and equipment,” commented Vinny Caputo, senior vice president of aerospace systems at V2X. “A key differentiator in V2X’s offering is our numerous FAA Part 145 repair stations, which are readiness multipliers.”

The Reston, Virginia-headquartered defense contractor also provides logistics support to the U.S. Navy’s fleet of C-12 Huron cargo and passenger airlift under a five-year, $230 million contract awarded in 2022.

V2X is also working with the Navy to ensure the operational readiness of F-5 Adversary aircraft under a potential seven-year, $747 million contract the company won in August 2024.
