The Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command Marianas has issued a pre-solicitation notice seeking industry input for two firm-fixed price, design-build/design-bid-build job order contracts to provide construction and repair services across NAVFACMAR’s area of responsibility.
NAVFACMAR AOR Construction Support Contract Details
According to the request for information published on SAM.gov Thursday, the two single-award indefinite-delivery/indefinite quantity contracts, designated as BLUE JOC and GOLD JOC, will cover minor construction and alteration work, including material sampling, testing, removal and disposal of hazardous materials like lead-contaminated paint and asbestos. The potential contractors will also provide procurement and administration support, including supervision, labor, safety controls, transportation, materials, equipment, tools, supplies, engineering, administration, permits and clearances, and incidentals.
The BLUE JOC will primarily cover Naval Base Guam installations, while the GOLD JOC will focus on Naval Support Activity Marine Corps Base Camp Blaz installations. Secondary locations for both job order contracts include other NAVFACMAR AOR locations and locations within the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, while tertiary locations will cover the Federated States of Micronesia and Palau.
Each contract will have a potential value of $100 million and a total performance period of seven years if all options are exercised. The contracts will have a two-year base ordering period, a two-year option period and a final three-year option period.
