John Ustica, president and CEO of Siemens Government Technologies, has accepted the 2025 Wash100 Award during a recent visit from Executive Mosaic CEO Jim Garrettson.

Driving Growth Through Innovation, Contract Wins & Partnerships
For the third consecutive year, Ustica was honored with the Wash100 Award. The annual award, presented to 100 of the most influential executives in the government and government contracting industry, recognized Ustica for strengthening SGT’s business, driving innovation, and fostering collaboration between the industry and government.
Under his leadership, the company focused on enhancing business by strengthening its executive team. SGT appointed Elizabeth Larson as chief financial officer in April and Aaron Johns as vice president of digital solutions in October. The company also added Stacie Ohler as vice president of buildings and energy in February 2025.
Aside from the key hires, SGT secured significant contracts, including a $107.4 million contract modification by the U.S. Navy to provide energy-related services at the Naval Station Guantanamo Bay. Ustica also championed innovation and strategic collaborations, stressing that agile partnerships with the Department of Defense can help accelerate the development and adoption of technological advancements.
