SGT said Tuesday the nearly three-decade Siemens veteran’s work will now cover software and hardware from the Siemens Digital Industries Xcelerator portfolio.
Johns has been with Siemens for more than 27 years, recently spearheading the software modernization efforts for various U.S. military clients of SGT.
At Siemens’ government business arm, he served as director of technical strategy and pre-sales for almost four years prior to his latest promotion.
Before joining SGT, Johns worked at Siemens Digital Industries Software as the U.S. Navy technical account manager and the Department of Defense technical strategy manager.
“Aaron possesses a unique ability to effectively bridge complex technologies with easily translatable concepts and real-world challenges for our customers,” said SGT President and CEO John Ustica, a two-time Wash100 Award recipient. “Recognized for both his technical insights and hands-on approach to digital transformation initiatives for our customers, Aaron will be a tremendous addition to our executive leadership team.”
