Radford Army Ammunition Plant Contract Scope
According to a notice posted on SAM.gov Thursday, the ACC is seeking potential contractors to oversee the RFAAP’s modernization starting in fiscal year 2027. The project will involve operating the plant and manufacturing propellants.
The ACC plans to award a single indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract with a base period and five one-year ordering periods. It also includes an option for another five one-year ordering periods and two additional unevaluated ten-year options. If all options are exercised, the contract will run for 30 years. The project will be conducted in Radford, Virginia.
The incumbent contractor will continue operating and maintaining the RFAAP until Dec. 31, 2026. Interested parties can submit their feedback regarding the draft solicitation until Aug. 1.
