Initial TETRAS Contact
In June 2023, 46 companies won spots on a follow-on $1 billion TETRAS contract from the Air Force. The selected companies were tasked with developing testing and evaluation platforms for weapons systems.
The Air Force previously solicited proposals for the TETRAS II test system support in 2022. The RFP indicated that the contract is intended to develop and enhance testing systems and facilities of the 96th Range Group and other Department of Defense clients.
The initial contract is expected to be completed by Dec. 31, 2028.
