In a LinkedIn announcement Wednesday, Chenega said Caruso will be responsible for providing strategic legal guidance across litigation, mergers and acquisitions, commercial and government contracts, regulatory compliance, corporate governance and other areas.

Prior to joining Chenega in 2022, Caruso was an associate attorney with Dorsey & Whitney in Anchorage, Alaska, and Shook, Hardy & Bacon in California. She also served as clerked for Justice Winfree of the Alaska Supreme Court and Judge Mark Rindner of the Anchorage Superior Court.
