The Irvine, California-based company said Thursday MacMillan is responsible for leading product innovation and growth acceleration with a focus on developing new AI capabilities and enabling organizations to transform data into insights and achieve better business results.

Before joining Alteryx, MacMillan was CEO and senior adviser at UserTesting. He previously served as chairman and CEO of Act-On Software, where he was instrumental in transforming the company’s portfolio.
MacMillan also spent over three years at Salesforce, serving in various executive roles including chief operating officer for products, general manager and senior vice president of the Data.com division. He was also VP of product management with Oracle and Stellent.
