The defense and space manufacturing company announced Labasi’s promotion via a LinkedIn post Tuesday.
Labasi most recently served as vice president for capture at Auria, responsible for developing and managing capture strategies and promoting corporate growth in space, missile defense and cybersecurity markets.
Prior to joining Auria, the executive was with Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) for over three years in a role focused on business development capture for missile defense programs.
Labasi served with the U.S. Army and the Missile Defense Agency before transitioning to the industry. His previous roles in the service branch include brigade operations officer, battalion commander and division chief for air and missile defense.
At the MDA, he was director of ballistic missile defense system cybersecurity test.
