5 Contractors Win Spots on $500M BPA for Modernizing FDA Data & Analytics

Accenture‘s (NYSE: ACN) federal business, Booz Allen Hamilton (NYSE: BAH), Deloitte Consulting and two other companies were awarded positions on a potential $500 million contract to help modernize the Food and Drug Administration’s data and analytics.

According to the award notice posted on the Federal Procurement Data System, Next Phase Solutions and Services and Trillion ERP VentureTech are the other contractors named to the five-year blanket purchase agreement with the Department of Health and Human Services agency.

The awardees will provide the FDA with services in support of its data and analytics modernization effort. Work is expected to conclude by Aug. 26, 2029.

The FDA received 23 offers on the full-and-open procurement and awarded the BPA to five vendors using the General Services Administration’s Multiple Award Schedule contract vehicle.

In May 2022, the agency unveiled its Enterprise Modernization Action Plan that outlines a strategy for leveraging data as a foundation. Its guiding components are focused on creating infrastructure to support change, developing a common operational approach and ensuring strategic alignment.
