Crowley‘s government services business will provide the Department of Defense with transportation services under a $613.3 million indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract from the U.S. Transportation Command.
The DOD said Friday Crowley Government Services will perform Freight All Kinds services within the continental U.S., Alaska, Puerto Rico and Canada.
Transportation support for the Pentagon is from receipt of a shipment request to final payment for services rendered.
The contract’s base period of performance is from Aug. 1, 2024, to July 31, 2025.
TRANSCOM’s working capital funds will be obligated for fiscal years 2024, 2025 and 2026 to cover the IDIQ.
In July 2023, Crowley Government Services was awarded a $480 million economic adjustment under an existing contract to continue coordinating surface freight shipping operations for DOD activities.
