Juan Ramirez, director of the 5G cross functional team within the Department of Defense’s Office of the Chief Information Officer, will open the forum with a keynote address. In his role, Ramirez provides technical and policy expertise, programmatic oversight and guidance to help synchronize and integrate 5G into defense-wide programs in alignment with the Pentagon’s digital modernization strategy.
Following Ramirez’s keynote will be three expert panel discussions: Operationalizing 5G for DOD Missions; Addressing DOD Spectrum Needs in the Age of Programmable Spectrum; and 5G OCONUS Use Cases and Spectrum Opportunities.
