John Meade, an associate at Blue Delta Capital Partners, has assumed the position of principal at the Tysons, Virginia-based growth-stage venture capital firm focused on the U.S. federal government services sector.
“John provides excellent insights not only to the rest of us at Blue Delta, but to the management teams that we are fortunate to back. He is the consummate professional and we all greatly value his knowledge and efforts,” Chris Torti, a general partner at Blue Delta, said in a statement published Thursday.
Meade has been with Blue Delta since 2019. As an associate, he helped conduct due diligence in investment opportunities and supported portfolio companies in their growth initiatives through organic and tuck-in acquisitions.
Before Blue Delta, he was an investment banking analyst at financial services company Raymond James, where he focused on mergers and acquisitions of middle-market GovCon firms as part of the defense and government services investment banking practice.
Meade also served as an investment banking analyst at Outcome Capital before he joined Raymond James.
