Weliver announced his new role at the architecture, engineering and construction services provider on LinkedIn.
A civil engineering graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, Weliver had earlier served in the U.S. Army for two decades, concluding his military service and joining the private sector in 2005. He became part of Dewberry in 2020, taking on the role of vice president and U.S. Army executive client manager.
Weliver’s prior employers include Union Home Mortgage and MACTEC. He was also part Amec Foster Wheeler. That engineering company was later acquired by consulting and engineering services provider Wood, which Weliver joined in 2017.
The Dewberry VP is also a graduate of Georgia Institute of Technology, where he earned a degree in environmental engineering.
