The company said Thursday it will supply ATMOS 155mm/52 caliber truck-mounted howitzers systems under a two-year, $119 million contract and PULS artillery rocket-launcher systems under a three-year, $133 million contract.
ATMOS, also known as Autonomous Truck Mounted Howitzer, is a modular artillery platform designed to fire 150mm projectiles and is meant for rapid deployment to provide fire support to a range of missions.
PULS or Precise and Universal Launching System is an autonomous artillery system that can fire various types of ammunition to ranges of up to 300 kilometers. The platform could help reduce training and maintenance costs since it is fully adaptable to existing systems.
