Established in 2016, DIB provides department leaders with independent expert advice on how DOD can use talent, technology and commercial best practices to advance experimentation and innovation, the Pentagon said Monday.
Bloomberg, founder and CEO of media conglomerate Bloomberg and former mayor of New York City, was sworn in as chair of DIB in June.

Mac Thornberry, former chairman of the House Armed Services Committee and board member at CAE
Michael Mullen, a retired U.S. Navy admiral, former chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and chief of naval operations
Reid Hoffman, co-founder of LinkedIn, co-founder of Inflection AI, partner at Greylock
Ryan Swann, chief data analytics officer at Vanguard
Susan Gordon, member of the boards of CACI International (NYSE: CACI), Avantus Federal, Mitre and BlackSky (NYSE: BKSY)
