IRS Posts Draft RFQ for Potential $209M User Network, Services Support BPA

The Internal Revenue Service has released a draft request for quotations for a potential $209 million multiple-award blanket purchase agreement covering user network and services support.

A presolicitation notice posted on SAM.gov Thursday indicates the UNSS II contract will encompass deskside information technology maintenance, workstation software standardization and security management, annual certification of the agency’s assets and laptop services for the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance grant program.

Selected contractors will provide IT support for Tier 3 user equipment and projects through any or all of the task areas covered by the contract.

The planned firm-fixed-priced BPA will have a base of one year, four one-year options and a six-month option.

IRS plans to select tasks and labor rates for orders under the BPA based on the General Service Administration’s Multiple Award Schedule’s special item number for software maintenance service.
