David Perkins, a retired U.S. Army general, has joined the board of directors at military vehicle and equipment manufacturer Oshkosh (NYSE: OSK).
The addition of Perkins will bring the number of Oshkosh’s board members to 10, the company said Wednesday.
He held various leadership positions during his 38-year military career including as commander of Army Training and Doctrine Command and commandant of the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College at Fort Leavenworth.
At TRADOC, Perkins helped develop the branch’s concept of conducting operations in all domains.
The West Point graduate earned his master’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Michigan and a master’s degree in national security and strategic studies from the Naval War College.
