Six companies have landed spots on a $249 million contract to support maintenance activities within Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command‘s southwest area of operations.
The contractors will maintain, repair and support facility systems including those used for refrigeration, fire protection, heating, ventilation and air conditioning, the Department of Defense said Tuesday.
Ninety percent of work under the firm-fixed price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, multiple award service contract will take place in California while the remaining percentage will be done in Nevada, Arizona, Colorado, Utah and New Mexico, through Feb. 9, 2030.
The Navy gathered eight proposals from the contract’s solicitation and will initially obligate $3,000 in fiscal 2022 operation and maintenance funds to selected bidders.
The awardees, which will compete for orders under the contract, are:
