He will support the Octo health business unit in efforts to develop new business opportunities, strategic alliances and capture and proposal plans, B3 Group said Wednesday.
Kearney most recently served as vice president of growth and capture at information technology services provider VetsEZ. His career also included roles at FEI Systems and ManTech International (Nasdaq: MANT).
“As we forge a new path with Octo, Joe will be integral in leading the capture and teaming for large-scale government opportunities in the [Department of Veterans Affairs] and other health agencies,” said Brad Palmer, managing principal at B3.
Octo, a technology contractor backed by Arlington Capital Partners, acquired B3 Group in January to expand health IT offerings in the federal market.
