Booz Allen to Support Navy Littoral Mission Tech Program Office Under $75M Contract

Booz Allen Hamilton (NYSE: BAH) has secured a $74.7 million contract to provide professional services to the U.S. Navy office responsible for the acquisition and sustainment of littoral combat ship mission systems.

The company will perform non-personal support work for the Program Executive Office Unmanned and Small Combatants under the cost-plus-fixed-fee contract, the Department of Defense said Friday.

Navy’s PEO USC, formerly known as PEO Littoral Combat Ship, describes itself as a fleet-focused organization and aims to help the Navy expand the branch suite of unmanned maritime, mine warfare and small surface combatant systems.

The Naval Surface Warfare Center Crane Division awarded the contract on a sole-source basis and will obligate $16.5 million at the time of award from DOD’s and the Navy’s operation and maintenance and research and development funds for fiscal years 2021 and 2022.

Work will take place at a company facility in McLean, Virginia, and at the Washington Navy Yard in Washington, D.C. through April 2023.

Booz Allen is sponsoring the Potomac Officers Club’s upcoming event themed “JADC2 Series: Achieve Information Dominance: Counter Gray Zone Warfare Through Unifying Data.” Register now to join the event on Feb. 2.

Brig. Gen. Charles Parker, deputy director (J6) at the Joint Staff and chair of the Joint All-Domain Command and Control Cross-Functional Team at the Department of Defense, will headline the virtual forum.
