Francisco Salguero, formerly chief information officer of the Federal Communications Commission, has joined Salesforce (NYSE: CRM) as a digital acceleration architect, according to his LinkedIn post.
Salguero said he aims to help federal customers on their information technology modernization journey with the company’s cloud-based platform.
He returned to the private sector after 16 years of federal service that includes nearly two years as the FCC CIO and a more than 14-year career within the Department of Agriculture.
Previously, he ran a consulting company focused on IT support services and also held positions at Science Applications International Corp. (NYSEL SAIC), El Paso Energy and NETtel.
