Rich Kretzschmar, president of Integration Innovation Inc, has been promoted to the CEO position at the Hunstville, Alabama-based software and systems engineering company.
He initially joined i3 in 2017 with 26 years of civilian work experience at the Department of the Army, the company said Friday.
Kretzschmar previously served as the Army’s acting deputy program executive officer for aviation and helped manage acquisition efforts for various missile and aircraft systems.
The trained aerodynamicist is a recipient of the Department of the Army’s Meritorious Civilian Service Award and Commander’s Award for Civilian Service.
He earned both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in aerospace engineering from Auburn University and his MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
