FMD said Monday the deal includes the Hunt Valve, MB Valve, Hunt Valve Actuator Division and Pima Valve brands.
Hunt Valve manufactures fluid power products at facilities in Salem, Ohio and Montreal, Canada. The U.S. Navy uses Hunt Valve’s products in Virginia-class and Columbia-class submarines, as well as in Ford-class aircraft carriers and other ships.
Houlihan Lokey provided financial advisory services to FMD and its private equity owner, Arcline Investment Management, on the transaction.
The deal follows FMD’s recent expansion efforts, such as the company’s acquisition of motor manufacturer Ward Leonard in January and BRECO International in November 2020.
