Collins Aerospace Secures $205M DISA Contract for Government Datalink Services

Raytheon Technologies‘ (NYSE: RTX) Collins Aerospace business has secured a potential $205.06 million contract from the Defense Information Systems Agency to provide datalink services to air traffic control and government command-and-control operations.

The Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization will use fiscal 2022 operations and maintenance funds to cover the contract’s minimum guarantee of $15,000, the Department of Defense said Tuesday.

Under the 10-year contract, Collins Aerospace will support messaging, voice and general data communications intended to help agencies manage flight safety.

Work under the single-award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract is scheduled to commence in October and will continue through Sept. 30, 2031.

DISA awarded in late 2016 its five-year, Data Link Service Provider 4 contract to Rockwell Collins, which United Technologies Corp. acquired in 2018 and merged with UTC’s aerospace systems business to form Collins Aerospace.
