In its most recent Executive Spotlight interview, ExecutiveBiz spoke with Dr. Reggie Brothers, BigBear.ai’s CEO, 2021 Wash100 Award recipient and GovCon Expert, about the merger with GigCapital4 that will form BigBear, Inc. and take the company public, the partnership with UAV Factory, the advancement of artificial intelligence and emerging technologies in the federal sector, and other topics surrounding ISR capabilities and data-driven decision making.
Here’s an excerpt from the interview with Brothers discussing the company’s merger with GigCapital4:
“Merging with GigCapital4 is an efficient way for us to become a public company and raise additional capital. This fuels our commercial growth, expands our sales and marketing, funds our research and development efforts that accelerate the product offerings, and enables us to continue pursuing corporate growth opportunities. … We’re talking about investing in research and development, products and capabilities. Helping our customers with those data capabilities has been a driving force for us as we’ve grown into new customer sets, while continuing our growth in the national security sector. We’re also taking the technologies to the commercial side, to users like infrastructure, energy, shipping and more.”
