The Alexandria, Virginia-based company will provide advisory and assistance services to the agency in R&D areas such as chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear threat defense, the Department of Defense said Tuesday.
DTRA’s work also includes countering weapons of mass destruction, improvised threats and threat networks.
The agency received six proposals for the cost-plus-fixed-fee contract via a small business set-aside competition. The award has a $16.3 million face value over six months of initial work, followed by four option years.
Work will primarily take place at Fort Belvoir in Virginia, with an expected completion date of Nov. 15, 2025.
The company is set to receive $7.2M in contract funds from the agency at the time of award.
