SRI International has received a sole-source contract with a $90.1M value ceiling to support a Defense Logistics Agency program aimed at developing military-grade technology that enables a continuing source of integrated circuits.
The Department of Defense said Wednesday the five-year indefinite-delivery requirements contract provides for SRI's work on the Advanced Microcircuit Emulation program, which is focused on creating and testing microcircuits for Dual Port RAM memories, +20V Operational amplifiers and other supply voltage devices.
Work will be conducted in California and New Jersey, and is expected to be completed on Jan. 31, 2026.
Several capabilities, including +3.3 V Supply Voltage devices and +20 V Analog devices, are being developed under the AME Program to meet weapon system requirements, according to the AME website.
The initiative will also pursue higher voltage analog devices and higher density memories in addition to enabling dual voltage logic application specific-integrated circuits.
The DLA-sponsored initiative employs a design methodology that supports technologies designed by SRI.
AME integrated circuits are produced in the company's foundry.
