DLA Picks Thomas Scientific for $106M Nasopharyngeal Swab Supply Contract

Thomas Scientific has secured a potential $105.8M indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract from the Defense Logistics Agency to provide nasopharyngeal swabs to five federal executive departments and the Indian Health Service.

Federal customers on this contract are the departments of Defense, Veterans Affairs, Justice, Homeland Security and Health and Human Services, DoD said Tuesday.

The sole-source, firm-fixed-price IDIQ has a four-month ordering period that includes three option months and runs through April 24.

Swedesboro, New Jersey-based Thomas Scientific works to source COVID-19 research and test products in accordance with Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommendation, the company noted on its website.
