A sources sought notice published Tuesday says the FAMIS-WCF enhancement and sustainment effort will have several focus areas including information technology support and services; business process reengineering studies; analysis; gap studies; transition plans; and software development, testing and integration to help improve existing financial systems.
Required capabilities include experience executing defense working capital fund processes and implementing interfaces in the Oracle enterprise resource planning system using the Procurement Data Standards and Purchase Request Data Standards in a Department of Defense environment.
Future FAMIS work would include cloud hosting, continued operations, training and infrastructure management, digital workforce using artificial intelligence and robotics to improve automation and business process reengineering and improvements.
Deloitte is the incumbent on the current contract that is set to end in October 2021. The contract was awarded through a full-and-open competition using the General Services Administration's Alliant vehicle.
The service will accept responses to the sources sought notice through Dec. 11 and expects to award the FAMIS-WCF sustainment and enhancement support contract by August 2021.
