Perspecta (NYSE: PRSP) has received a potential $17.9M task order from the Space Development Agency to provide mission systems engineering and integration support for Tranche 0 capabilities.
The company will lead efforts to integrate Tranche 0 elements and carry out on-orbit tests and experiments to demonstrate potential capabilities in support of warfighters, the Department of Defense said Thursday.
The task order was awarded under an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract, which has a ceiling value of approximately $112M and an ordering period of five years. The IDIQ contract has a minimum dollar amount of $100K, according to a solicitation notice.
Tranche 0 elements include tracking, ground and transport layers of the proliferated National Defense Space Architecture, a data transport and military sensing capability in low-Earth orbit.
Work will occur in Virginia, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Colorado, California, Alabama, Florida and Washington, D.C.
SDA will obligate research, development, test and evaluation funds for fiscal 2021 at the time of award.
