The first group, known as the Federal Express Team, secured a $1.6B award that increases the value of a prior airlift services contract to $3.3B, the Department of Defense said Thursday.
In the same notice, the DoD said the second Patriot Team received a $1.4B modification to provide charter airlift support for the department. The award increases the original contract’s value to $2.9B.
Transcom will obligate fiscal 2021 transportation working capital funds for the two awards.
Both teams will perform work under the modification through Sept. 30, 2022.
