The VALOR acquisition effort will include product integration, software licensing, training, organizational change management, sustainment, testing, hosting, configuration management and other services in support of the VA’s enterprisewide electronic health record modernization program, according to a sources sought notice released in March.
“Additionally, VALOR transformation efforts will address nonclinical core functional requirements which may include inventory management/supply chain capabilities as well as ongoing legacy support,” the draft performance work statement reads.
Under the VALOR program, the contractor will provide program management support for the implementation of the Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support/LogiCole systems in mission support areas: program management services; sustainment training execution services; enterprise deployment services; and strategic communications and change management.
