Los Alamitos, California-based Alliance Spacesystems designs and manufactures antenna reflectors, payload structures for satellite buses, booms, composite structures for launch vehicles and other composite assemblies for the government, civil and commercial satellite market, Applied Composites said Wednesday.
David Horner, CEO of Applied Composites, said the company is excited to add Alliance’s line of composite products and services and space heritage.

Kirkland & Ellis and RSM respectively served as legal and financial advisers to Applied Composites. KippsDeSanto & Co. advised Alliance on the deal’s financial aspect, while Blank Rome acted as legal adviser.
