Cubic-Northrop-Carley Team to Pursue Navy's RRL Content Conversion Contract; Mike Knowles Quoted

Cubic’s (NYSE:CUB) globaldefense segment has teamed up with Northrop Grumman (NYSE: NOC)and Carley to compete forthe U.S. Navy’s potential $93M contract to design, develop, test and deliverproducts in support of the service’s Fiscal Year 2021 Ready Relevant Learning ContentConversion program.

FY21 RRL CC is an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contractand is part of the Navy’s Sailor 2025 program, which seeks to modernizetraining and personnel management systems to facilitate recruitment, retentionand development of future forces, Cubic saidMonday.

“We believe our team’s experiencesupporting the Fleet, our application of learning strategies and advancedcontent development tools will accelerate Sailor learning at the point of need,”said Mike Knowles,president of Cubic Global Defense.

The team will include small businesses and use newtechnologies and systems engineering, training assessment and instructionalsystems design approaches to support naval forces’ training and learning aspart of the service’s S2025 program.

The Navy released in June the solicitationfor the FY2021 RRL CC contract and expects the contract award to occur in March2021.
