U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) has released a request for information on potential contractors that could provide support services for its Global Analytics Platform.
A notice published Friday says that USSOCOM intends to award a single- or multiple-award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract for the GAP program with a ceiling value of between $300 million and $600 million and an ordering period of five to 10 years.
GAP seeks to provide an information system environment to support the discovery, search and collaborative analysis of large data volumes within a set of web-based applications.
The system’s architecture will be composed of interoperable services such as analytic, collaboration and visualization services and information acquisition, access and processing services. The program objectives are divided into two lines of effort: development and system upgrades/improvement and operational system maintenance and sustainment support.
LOE 1 covers the application of artificial intelligence/machine learning and data science to improve analyst workflow and use of a multidisciplinary Agile software development team model. LOE 2 includes the sustainment of GAP information technology architecture and implementation of software enhancements and tech upgrades.
Interested vendors should state their capabilities, including their experience supporting classified cloud environment for the Intelligence Community, using Agile development principles and DevSecOps practices to develop continuous integration/continuous delivery pipelines and sustaining software-based platforms.
