VSE (Nasdaq: VSEC) has received a contract from the U.S. Marine Corps and delivery orders under a foreign military sales contract from Naval Sea Systems Command, amounting to approximately $90M combined.
The company said Monday it will support procurement and technical efforts for USMC’s Advanced Amphibious Assault family of vehicles beginning in the second quarter under a five-and-a-half-year contract award.
NAVSEA’s International Fleet Support Program Office asked the company to provide maritime program support encompassing engineering, logistics, repairs and maintenance services for unnamed U.S. allies.
“Our federal services group recently launched a multiyear business development initiative that seeks to grow bookings and funded backlog through increased penetration of both new and existing markets,” VSE President and CEO John Cuomo said.
