One joint venture and four independent firms have won spots on a potential five-year, $975M contract for design-build and design-bid-build services to general construction projects within Naval Facilities Engineering Command’s Mid-Atlantic area of responsibility in North Carolina.
Contractors will vie for task orders to build, repair, demolish, modify or renovate buildings through the multiple-award indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract, the Department of Defense said Friday.
Projects will cover lodging, dormitory and recreational areas, warehouses, hangars and communications systems. Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune and MCAS Cherry Point are the primary locations of contract work.
NAVFAC Mid-Atlantic received 22 proposals for the IDIQ via a competitive procurement.
