Karl Jensen AECOM (NYSE: ACM) has appointed Karl Jensen, a business development and strategy professional in the GovCon sector, as executive vice president of the national governments practice in the Americas.
Steve Morriss, president of design and consulting services group for the Americas, said in a statement published Tuesday Jensen’s industry experience makes him a great fit to oversee the federal business as AECOM continues to carry out strategic measures to further its focus on professional services capabilities following the completion of the sale of the management services business.
Jensen previously led U.S. expansion efforts at Swiss military technology firm RUAG. He held senior leadership roles at CH2M, Raytheon (NYSE: RTN), Science Applications International Corp. (NYSE: SAIC) and CACI International (NYSE: CACI).
He served more than two decades in the U.S. Navy and Navy Reserve as an aerospace engineering duty officer and naval aviator.
