A team of Planned Systems International and MicroHealth has landed a potential $250M contract to help the State Department's Bureau of Medical Services manage physical and electronic health records.
PSI said Tuesday it will support the bureau in efforts to process, archive, retrieve and transmit personally identifiable and protected health information of U.S. government employees who are eligible to receive medical care overseas.
MicroHealth serves as a subcontractor to PSI on the single-award indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract.
Terry Lin, CEO of PSI, said the company plans to leverage its information technology professionals to help clients secure IT assets and critical missions.
Under the IDIQ's three initial task orders, the team will help the bureau create an EHR roadmap, maintain IT systems and manage files.
