Lesley Kalan, corporate vice president of government relations at Northrop Grumman (NYSE: NOC), will assume additional duties as chief strategy and development officer on Jan. 1.
She will continue to report to Kathy Warden, Northrop chairman, CEO and president and a 2019 Wash100 award winner, and oversee the companys public policy, government and regulatory affairs as she develops and leads business strategy, commercial partnerships and domestic business development efforts, Northrop said Friday.
In this expanded role, Lesley will help to ensure our company is well positioned for future growth, said Warden. Her deep industry experience and business acumen will serve us well as we continue to solve our customers toughest challenges.

She served as a Presidential Management Fellow in the office of the defense secretary and professional staff member of the Senate Appropriations Committees defense subpanel.
