United Technologies Corp. ‘s (NYSE: UTX) Collins Aerospace business has received a three-year, $310.5M contract modification to supply more than 400 radio systems to U.S. and foreign military customers.
Collins Aerospace will produce the AN/ARC-210(v) radios for integration with more than 400 fixed and mobile platforms used in air, land and sea domains, the Department of Defense said Tuesday .
DoD expects deliveries to be complete by September 2022.
The U.S. Navy originally awarded an $82.6M indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to Rockwell Collins in July 2018 to manufacture the AN/ARC-210 family of radio equipment.
UTC formed Collins Aerospace after completing its acquisition of Rockwell Collins in late November.
AN/ARC-210 is designed to function as a two-way system for transmitting voice and data communications.
