Brian LaRoche, former vice president and general manager of BAE Systems‘ U.S. weapons systems business, has been appointed VP and chief operating officer of the mission solutions unit at Cubic (NYSE: CUB).
He brings more than three decades of management experience to his new position and will be responsible for implementing business plans, strategies and procedures to drive Cubic’s performance and growth, the company said Tuesday.
Cubic Mission Solutions President Mike Twyman said LaRoche’s management background and industry experience can help the company optimize operations and implement growth strategies.
Brian will manage the operations function, overall integration and efficient execution of CMS,” Twyman added.
LaRoche took on various command and flag officer assignments during his career with the U.S. Navy. He retired from military service in 2016 with the rank of rear admiral.
