Dell™s Boomi business unit has received Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program certification for a cloud-based offering designed to help customers consolidate organizational data and applications.
The FedRAMP program management office and the U.S. Agency for International Development certified that Boomi’s Integration Platform as as Service met baseline requirements for 325 controls under the œmoderate category, Boomi said Wednesday.
The iPaaS platform uses a runtime engine to unify operations and facilitate cloud, on-premise and legacy system integration processes through a customized user interface.
Chris Port, chief operating officer of Boomi, said the authorization marks a step towards achieving the company’s public sector strategy and demonstrates its commitment to federal government initiatives.
FedRAMP authorization procedures involve in-depth assessments of a cloud offering against data security and governance standards.
