SSFM-NOEI has secured a potential five-year, $100M contract from the U.S. Navy to provide architect-engineer services for Naval Facilities Engineering Command’s structural projects within Hawaii.
The company will help NAVFAC document military construction projects, create design-build request for proposals and perform engineering investigations and surveys on site as part of the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract, the Department of Defense said Wednesday.
Work will also involve technical surveys, cost estimates, comprehensive interior design services and post-construction award services. Efforts under the IDIQ will take place at Navy, Marine Corps and government facilities throughout the island.
The service branch received one proposal via an online-based competitive bidding process and obligated $10K at the time of award.
DoD expects the term of the contract to end in August 2024.
