Perspecta (NYSE: PRSP) has achieved two Capability Maturity Model Integration appraisals for its systems and hosting services used to support the Medicare program.
The Chantilly, Va.-based firm attained a CMMI for Development maturity level 5 rating and a CMMI for Services maturity level 3 appraisal following assessments of the company’s systems and services as well as its program and organizational management procedures, Perspecta said Tuesday.
The companys CMMI-DEV maturity level 5 designation certifies that its Medicare systems operate in line with best practices, while the CMMI-SVC maturity level 3 status verifies that Perspecta’s Medicare hosting services team implements continuous improvement and management in providing information technology support.
Mac Curtis, president and CEO of Perspecta and a 2019 Wash100 winner, said both CMMI rating achievements demonstrate the companys commitment to supporting its Medicare clients mission.
Perspecta secured both ratings through a multimodel appraisal event conducted by Atkott, a CMMI Institute partner organization.
