Northrop Grumman (NYSE: NOC) has landed a potential $958M contract to manufacture and deliver 30 multimission radar systems to the U.S. Marine Corps.
The company will also provide retrofit kits and spare components for AN/TPS-80 Ground/Air Task Oriented Radars under the firm-fixed-price, full-rate production contract, the Department of Defense said Friday.
Marine Corps Systems Command will obligate $194.7M in fiscal 2019 procurement funds at the time of award.
The Pentagon expects contract work to conclude by Jan. 13, 2025.
AN/TPS-80 is designed to equip warfighters with tracking, air traffic control and multifaceted detection capabilities to counter hostile threats.
