BAE Systems‘ technology solutions and services subsidiary in Maryland has won a potential six-year, $93.9M contract to help the U.S. Navy design and test command, control, communications, computer, intelligence and sensor systems.
Work also covers procurement, integration and training support for the C4I equipment and sensors designed to operate with ships, shore installations, unmanned aerial systems and ground-based platforms, the Department of Defense said Monday.
Tasks are intended to support the Navy’s program executive office for ships, PEO C4I, Naval Sea Systems Command, Naval Air Systems Command and other federal agencies.
Thirty-five percent of contract work will take place in St. Inigoes, Md., and the remaining 65 percent will occur at various locations within the continental U.S.
The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division received two offers for the firm-fixed-price, cost-plus-fixed-fee, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract via an electronic request for proposals.
DoD expects the company to finish work by March 2025.
